The BAC Social Committee is charged with creating social events and ensuring the team and their families have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other.  If you have any ideas for social events or would like to participate in the planning, please email us at: bacsocial@bulldogaquaticclub.com.

Breakfast after Morning Practices

Wednesdays:  June 30, July 14, & July 28th.  For $5.00 (which includes your tip)you will once again be able to get their usual breakfast specials that are available. And of course all other menu items are available at their regular price. Thomas's is located on the south side of Plymouth Rd.(coming from the pool it is on your left)just a smidge east of Stark Rd. their address is:    33971 Plymouth Rd. and ph # (734) 261 - 8890. Parents & siblings are always welcome to join us, BUT IF YOU ARE ONLY DROPPING OFF & NOT STAYING PLEASE BE SURE TO RETURN BY: 9:15. The parents that will be at the restaurant need to be able to leave on time so they can get to work on time.

Pancake Breakfast

On Monday, July 12th, Art Greenlee will be heating up his griddle and flipping those pancakes for us for our annual pancake breakfast right there at the pool that he so happily volunteers to do for the kids every year.   Official flyer here.  Parent volunteers are welcome, please email Social Gal Sal at BACSocial@BulldogAquaticClub.com to let her know you can help!

Jr. Dogs are invited to morning practice, be IN the pool at 7:00 am!  Then stick around and join the Bulldogs and Sr. Dogs for breakfast.  If you are not a REGULAR morning practice swimmer but plan on practicing on pancake breakfast day and staying for breakfast please email Sally at the BAC Social address.  We want to make sure we have plenty of food for all of our Bulldog Tough swimmers.  DON'T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!

Fire-Up Family Picnic - Save the Date

Next is our annual summer Fire-Up Family Picnic at Newburgh Swim Club in Livonia on Monday, July 19th at 6:30 pm.  The official flyer is here.

This is a potluck dinner - featuring pizza with the side dishes, salads, and desserts prepared by member families based on last names:

Cost is $3.00 per person - RSVP to BACSocial@BulldogAquaticClub.com with your family's LAST NAME and the number of people attending.  RSVP on or before Friday, July 16th.  You can send your payment with your swimmer to afternoon practice - there will be a SOCIAL envelope for all payments.

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket as there are a limited number of picnic tables available for our use.  Bring your own beverages - no glass; plastic or cans only.

There will be a short Membership Meeting for all parents.

This is a great opportunity for you to meet other BAC families.  There is a sand volleyball pit, basketball courts, a pool (of course!), and a field for frisbee, soccer, etc.  Bring your own balls...
